The candle goes out when the last one leaves.
Nobody explains it to the new ones. They work it out or they do not.
If you can say what we do here, you were never here.
The hood was never a disguise. Everyone here already knows exactly who I am, where I sleep and how long I sit at the window. The hood is so that I do not have to look at anyone while I think.
People assume there is something at the end of all this. A revelation, a name, a door that opens. There is a candle, a floor, and however long you are willing to sit there.
Most of them leave after twenty minutes. That is also allowed.
